Can I donate from my Donor Advised Fund (DAF) or Individual Retirement Account (IRA)?
Yes. You can make a donation from your DAF or IRA. If you have a DAF, simply recommend a grant to Animal Care Centers of NYC (ACC) through your fund's administrator. For those 70½ or older, you may also be eligible to make a qualified charitable distribution (QCD) directly from your IRA, which can count toward your required minimum distribution and may offer tax advantages. Please consult your financial institution to make a distribution to ACC or if you have any questions.
